Immerse yourself in the game with the all-new Asics Solution Speed tennis shoe. I had the pleasure of partnering with Wonder Creatures @Letsbefriends to art direct and composite for this innovative footwear. Using a high-fidelity base model, we captured stunning moments through strategic lighting shifts, showcasing the AI-generated sole pattern's enhanced grip on hard courts by exploring the shoe-surface interaction.
Each shot was meticulously art directed to sculpt the angles perfectly, enhancing the visual appeal and highlighting the shoe's features. By scanning and modeling the shoe with the highest possible fidelity, we ensured that every detail was accurately represented. This allowed us to create simple yet striking shots with carefully adjusted lighting, bringing out the best in every angle and ensuring each image conveyed the desired impact.

Working the Angles and the Narrative
I meticulously selected camera lenses and angles to accentuate the shoe's contours and design, capturing dynamic in-game moments that highlight its unique features. Drawing inspiration from players' pivoting movements, I employed slow shutter speeds to convey a sense of speed and agility. The narrative artfully balanced the shoe's lightweight design with its superior sole grip, suggesting a gravity-defying performance. The opening shot was crafted to emphasize the AI sole's grip and functionality, setting a compelling tone for the entire showcase.
